All our desserts are selected to complement our wines and dishes. They aren’t sugary but just the right amount to hit the sweet spot. And with the cold season upon us, a little winter warmth from our liqueur coffees could complete the perfect dining experience. Try our house made mango pudding with a citrus coulis, as well as our crispy and steamed custard buns (a delicate and fine pastry bun made to perfection in house). We also have a delicious chocolate cake that is paired well with vanilla ice cream (this also goes well with our liqueurs). We do serve a selection of liqueur coffees. It’s becoming more popular as they do seal a scrumptious finish to any of our meals. And here are three reasons to indulge in something sweet after a meal:

1. A dessert is meant to clear the palette after dinner, and a good meal should leave you with room for something sweet.

2. It makes a clear finish to your dining experience.

3. A few bites are usually what seems perfect, never too much but enough to leave you feeling contented.

Every meal should finish on a sweet note. It need not always be a grand creamy gateau, or a sugary tart. It could be a cup of perfectly made coffee of coffee liqueur. Dessert has been incorporated even during ancient times. Back then, they didn’t have any of our sophisticated baking or sugar craft. They would serve grapes, dates or honey. The point may very well have been to clear the palette and quite simply, to end on a sweet note.
