So with the heat wave we’ve been experiencing this past week, you might agree that consumption of ice cream has probably risen substantially. We’ve noticed it’s been ordered at the restaurant these days. However, that has always been one of the favourite summer delectables for most people. That and Summer cocktails or mocktails.

Here’s a list of some of our Summer Delectables. We’re highlighting what has been most popular and then some of our personal favourites. If the weather continues to leave you feeling like you might be living in the Tropics, you’ll definitely want to try some of these to enhance the hot summer experience. Whether savoury or sweet, these little morcels will delight anytime.

Mango pudding

Coconut sorbet

raw vegetable salad – made of fresh mango, celery, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, sweet peppers and roasted sesame seeds

crispy cream custard buns

iced coffee liqueur

cuttlefish and coriander cakes

fried rice foojian style  – made of egg fried rice topped with asparagus, chinese mushrooms, minced prawns, squid and scallops in gravy

So you see how the mango pudding and coconut sorbet are at the top of the list. When we asked many of you, it was said that it complemented the meal just right – not too heavy but enough to feel light.
