We’ve had a week long celebration for Chinese New Year. The turn out has been superb! We still have two more days to go till Sunday so do make sure you reserve your table for a feel good Chinese New year celebration of tossing the four seasons salad and picking the red envelope from the money tree.
And after the year of the Rooster has kicked off in full galore, we move into the early signs of Spring with Valentine’s Day. The month of the peach blossom as many know it in China, is when the sweet smelling blossom begins to bloom and falls delicately to the ground. This denotes the coming of Spring and the air filled with romance for new love to blossom. With their perfumed fragrance and relation to the rose, jasmine and elderflower groups, they are also used as edible decoration. Spring brides in China usually have a peach blossom in their bouquets to signify fertility, love, and good luck in marriage.
This year at Naturally Chinese, we will be celebrating Valentine’s weekend from the 10th to the 13th of February. We will be closed on Tuesday, 14th of February. Cosy up over Valentine’s weekend with your loved one over a delectable meal and fine wine. We look forward to setting the scene for a happy Spring romance. Reserve your table by calling us at 020 8399 5533 or email us at hello@naturallychineserestaurant.co.uk
Have a happy weekend!
