We are delighted to be hosting our first ever fundraising dinner for the children and families of the northern provinces in Vietnam. This cause is close to our hearts as our roots trace back to this area in Vietnam. With the abundance of your good wishes and patronage, we are able to give something back to this community. Many farmers there are grappling with rice on a daily basis. Clothing pieces are scarce for children to keep warm when going to school every morning. We could make a world of difference by helping them buy warm clothes, shoes, books and even food.

A little goes a long way and every bit would make a huge difference to them. We therefore hope that you may be interested to help the cause if you can. Come be part of the event. A donation of £20 towards the charity, and a free two course dinner awaits you on Monday, the 18th of May at 7pm. Here’s a sneak peek of the menu. A perfect close after the Surbiton Food Festival 2015.

And more fun awaits this weekend. Make sure you save either Saturday or Sunday, or both to spend at the lovely St. Andrew’s Square. Of course, Chef Chiu will be performing a live demonstration of dim sum making on Sunday, the 10th of May at 4pm, so you might want to keep your diary free for that. Such a variety to decide from but I am sure he will surprise you with something delightful. There will also be other live demonstrations from other. Click here for the full schedule.

Here’s to another week at the Surbiton Food Festival. Chin Chin!
