I’m thrilled to say that we’re featured in Stylist magazine — under the UK’s best restaurant, cafes and bars for healthy eating! The highlight was on the Singapore Noodles, and with good reason as it is one of our top selling dishes, great to eat in or take home. It’s a fine compliment as it’s what I’ve always hoped Naturally Chinese to become known for — healthy, natural and delicious Chinese food. As I’ve mentioned many times before that the task of defining our brand was not an easy one when we started in April 2012. And being a Chinese restaurant, it was especially difficult to change the notion that we cooked without using MSG. We also needed to spread the word around about our menu, and that we were a non traditional place mixing the tastes and nuances of being a modern Chinese restaurant in the UK.
So it’s reassuring to know that people are beginning to take notice of that. And speaking of non traditional, we’re in the middle of revamping our dim sum menu which includes our top delights like crispy calamari, beef brisket noodle soups, salmon dumplings, spare ribs among our array of bite sized dumplings and more. We’ve contained it to serve our very best and interesting of the lot.
