It was about two years after opening the restaurant that magazine publications, bloggers and other culinary connoisseurs began to take notice of what Naturally Chinese had to offer. We had a great review in Stylist magazine back in 2015 that featured in the top UK bars and restaurants for healthy eating. It was a fulfilling task to bring Naturally Chinese into the culinary insights of foodies that were looking for a more healthy approach to Chinese cuisine.
Chinese cuisine traditionally has always maintained a healthy approach to food. It was perhaps the advent of fast food -adding MSG and other additives to preserve that developed into a new kind of Chinese cuisine. And from that there possibly could be a new spring of modern Chinese cuisine. Modern in the current world of culinary insights we believe includes healthy, sustainable and authentic.
And so the search to evolve the cuisine continues, listening to feedback from customers, keeping an ear to the ground to see what ingredients are healthy and sustainable, and also; that which rings true to a once traditional style of Chinese culinary art.
