The weather seems to be warming up nicely and as we can only hope it stays that way for a long while, we at Naturally Chinese can guarantee a delicious list of Spring dishes on our menu. There’s a dish we’d like to introduce you to if you haven’t already tried it. It’s a popular Chinese wok fried rice dish that is well known in HongKong. This is the Foojian Fried Rice (also known as Fujian). Is it originally from the Foojian province on the coast of China? Actually not. It is typically a Hong Kong style dish but is one of the most popular fried rice dishes in China.

Fine vegetables like carrots, asparagus, peas and Chinese mushrooms along with minced prawns, squid and scallops in gravy make a splendid combination in this egg fried rice.  A street food in its origins, a fried rice is alive and has the freshest flavour and aroma. This also makes for a satisfying Spring Lunch!

Chinese cuisine prides itself on its fried rice concoctions. A perfect light meal in itself packed with energy and flavour, it can be enjoyed any time of the day. Relax with a cool drink and some of our fried rice dishes for the afternoon lunch:
